This article would have me believe that there are trios of Ferris Bueller cosplayers flitting about Chicago every weekend?

Meh....the only time I faked being sick in high school was during my senior year....and I only did it so I could complete an essay for Honors English.

No. It requires too much old tech and analog stuff to pull it off that has all been replaced by digital

A baseball game? Lunch at an expensive restaurant? Visit to the art museum? Up to the Sears Tower? A parade? No, it's not possible.

The "barf up a lung" thing seems plausible.

No way. Cameron would be a school shooter these days.

It could be him skipping out of work and his family then paying the consequences. Losing his job and his wife files for divorce. You know, a real downer.

Except likeable people never pay consequences for anything.

No, because the foul ball that Ferris catches was hiat in the 11th inning of a game that started at 1:20 and took over three hours to complete. Which means it was after 4:00 when that happened, and they did the Art Institute and parade after that.

I pretended to be sick so I could get out of going to school one time when I was about 15. However, I did not go on an adventure in the city. Instead, I stayed in my room and masturbated all day. I did it a total of seven times that day, which remains my record to the present.

I'm not even ashamed. I consider what I did that day to be an achievement.

Never thought about the downtown-to-Wrigley-and-back angle before. Is there good public transit from downtown to Wrigley? Because I'm pretty sure they didn't take the Ferrari:

OTOH, it's 20 minutes from the Sears Tower to Wrigley by car, per Google maps. That doesn't sound so bad. Maybe they caught a cab.

Hop the Red Line of the "L" at one of the 'Loop' stops (Monroe St. is close to the Art Institute) and get off at the Addison St. station right outside of Wrigley.
