She's been playing a pretty great character in Resident Alien lately.

Still holding up better than Edward Furlong.

Not as much as being married to James Cameron.

Not many actors can claim to have upstaged Arnold during their careers.

Happy birthday, mom of the future.

Linda Hamilton and Sigourney Weaver are two women I would follow into war; Their characters in Alien/Terminator are tough as nails.

Modern Hollywood cannot help themselves, mostly casting super attractive women in action roles, but I can't remember the last time I saw a woman cast as tough as Linda in T2;  She may have been chugging marlboro 100s, but she got ripped and looked the part.  Reading about her training for that movie, she was intense about it. Running miles, lifting weights; committed.

Mackenzie Davis got the physical look right for dark fate, for what its worth; She just lacked the....Snarl of someone who's been through the ringer.  And of course the script was played out.

Jesus.  She's in Resident Alien and looks like she's in her late 70s and I'm pretty sure that's not due to prosthetic makeup artistry.

Lots of bad 1980s hair in that IMDB retrospective.

/ She always looked great regardless

wouldestous: probly about time for a terminator reboot. need to get on selling our gen x cultural touchstones while we still can

Nah, the originals hold up well enough for the GenZ kids.  We just screened 1 & 2 a couple of weeks ago for our 13 year old (I wanted her to see these with us before she got exposed to spoilers re: "the model 101/T-800 is the protector")

She dug 'em both.  If we're going to reboot movies, reboot something that was BAD - leave the good movies as classics.

Dark Fate was my favorite since 2, but I'm not going to pretend that is a high bar.
