If only there was some sort of organization that kept records of all communications....

Out of all the January 6 stuff, this is probably the one thread I want resolved the most.

2022-09-26 7:22:48 AM
I guess there is no mention either of the guy they saw and did shiat about with an "automatic" rifle (or whatever the actual name of that gun is) on a tree he climbed around the elipse that day.

Fire the agency's current IG, bring in a new one to look into who is responsible for any missing documents. And to look into possible misconduct of previos IG for letting it happen on their watch.

We have to assume the January 6th protests were instigated by the FBI because nobody will address Ray Epps' role.

They absolutely 1000000000000% can recover all that missing data.
And we all know why they didn't make the effort.

Unfortunately, that's probably no longer the case. Those memory bytes will have likely been overwritten several times.

This is what happens when justice takes too long.

I have 20+ years in IT security and mainframe programming. Without burying you in technobabble, yes - ALL of that data was/is recoverable. Even now, the bulk of it could be recovered and reconstructed. All it takes is time and gobs of money.

By all means, bury us. First off, I like it when smart, focused people do infodumps. Second, I'd like to see you back something up with more than a trust me.

That's not what I heard USAToday. I heard the Jan 6 Comm has records of a call/calls coming from inside the Whitehouse during the Insurrection. And not in a good way either.

I hate to say this but this looks bad on both sides. It plays right into the conspiracy people, and looks crazy to the people seeking justice.  But the former might be the point.

Oh they were/are. Interesting that nobody wants to talk about data redundancy and that all the sudden the secret service doesn't have a disaster recovery plan.

Fire? That's usually what happens after they have been arrested.

And you keep pounding the gavel until they reveal the missing pages. Or the entire secret service is in prison.

I'm not sure they can under the IG statute.

I agree they should f*cking at least try!

60 minutes was good last night.
They had a former Republican IT guy on.

He told exactly how the game is played. Actual recorded messages.

They shut him down. The J6 committee had the best evidence available and told him " yeah, no, we got other stuff, thanks tho"

So he quit.

Yeah, everything we need to know comes from a partisan hack that can't stop gargling Trump's balls.
Definitely not a massive investigative project, select committee, piles of evidence, testimony, and research.

You really need to knock this off.

They may not be able to actually fire the AG without going through the process to fire a fed employee for cause. But they should be able to bring someone in to look into them and their shoddy work.

Jail them all, with the maximum penalty allowed. They obviously decided whatever was in those communications was more damning than deleting them, so give them their wish.

Then seize all their shiat and see if you can recover stuff. The whole scenario is fundamentally undermining the foundation of our governmental principles.

I saw an article about this guy but didn't see him on TV last night. I'll have to go look up the interview since the article was good, I am sure the interview would be as well.

The whole thing seems kind of crazy to me. I wonder if he raised these issues before J6 realized they would be an issue and they were focused on other things at the time and he and his suggestions became an afterthought.

The failed coup is ongoing and our democracy is still in danger.

My read on this anyway.

It's time to disband the SS as far as POTUS security and let USMC Security Forces guard him.  This is beyond a few rogue agents.

Let whatever is left of USSS chase the funny money or give it to the FBI.

That one also says he is some sort of super-hacker and he has a plan to do something if he is ever threatened, along with warning us to have iodine pills ready. Take everything he has to say with a grain of salt as he has a very active imagination.

NSA. CIA doesn't care about your phone records unless you live in Pakistan. And even then they're going to ask NSA for them because they are better at that sort of thing. CIA would just show up at your house and take your phone while you were sleeping. That's more their thing.

I'm just sayin' ... until the J6 commission addresses who Ray Epps is and what his role was in the J6 protests, nobody should be charged with a crime. The same holds true for the so-called Gretchen Whitmer "kidnapping" plot. That was instigated by the FBI ... So was the J6 protest until the commission proves otherwise.

Yes, we HAVE TO ASSUME the FBI instigated everything.  We just have to, there's no other possibility.  You're just sayin' that.

Yup, this feels exactly like "Trump was photographed boarding AF-1 with a huge pile of cardboard boxes two days after being told to turn over a huge pile of cardboard boxes to the Feds."

And then zero follow-up, no search of Trump's bunker at Bedminster, nothing. The whole goddamn world is watching Trump win the Shell Game with our missing confidential documents, and they're watching the Secret Service beat us at 3 Card Monte at the same time.
