Once upon a time, Oklahoma State was gonna hire Koetter. He skipped out last-minute, and they got Mike Gundy instead.

Also, where are the Welcome Back, Koetter jokes?

No, on BSU's end it's fine, even though he's past his prime. I wasn't laughing at them. I was laughing at Koetter.

But just the coming full circle after all these years. Being an actual NFL head coach and now you're back at Boise as a coordinator (and the school isn't even GOOD at football anymore)
