It's actually a decent year to be a Falcons fan.  I have no illusion of making postseason or even a winning season so Sundays are a lot less stressful and suspenseless because I know what's going to happen.  Fans can just watch and enjoy the game with no expectations.

Yeah you could be a broncos fan that went from the preseason hype of "superbowl contenders" to looking like a U12 football team.

Should be interesting for JMU. If they're actually this good, Coastal Carolina game might be the only hurdle in going undefeated in their inaugural season in BCS. When I was there the gates to the stadium during a game were just open for students (no tickets, you just walked right in).

NHL Network had a similar conclusion regarding the Sabres. It's not hard to be a Sabres fan right now, it's farking easy. You have no illusions or hope of making the post season, just enjoy that dumpster fire.

Curious to see where the Orioles stack up.  Projected "successful season" was to not be the worst team in baseball.  Got to "maybe we should talk about the post season", but looks like they should finish above .500.  I'd claim it was really easy to be an Oriole fan, but really haven't followed them since leaving Baltimore in the 1990s.

Next year probably won't be so easy, the idea being that the team is mostly rebuilt (with some ongoing rebuilding, Anglelos typically fails the other way instead of stopping at .500) means that more success is expected.
