Per NY Times, the jury awarded the consulting firm, Democracy Partners, $120,000.

Too bad Project Veritas has no money, and in fact is millions in debt to The Veritas Project which is run by some guy named Keith O'James.  Ah well, what can you do

Sandler tells me that the damages for the fraudulent misrepresentation are $120,000; damages for the unlawful wiretapping are to be decided by the court.

Phone tampering? It was a single misdemeanor count of entering a federal building under false pretenses.

It's not tampering to verify if it's working properly. Complaints had been made that her office was ignoring constituent phone calls, and they were going to check if the phones were working properly.

In the long run, does it really matter? Republicans still eat up everything Project Veritas spews out, just like they swallow the shiat from known, habitual liars like Andy Ngo and basically every other Republican politician or pundit.

Republicans do not live in reality. They want to mangle reality until it fits their preexisting world view, like trying to fit a cow through a tiny square hole and claiming it's still a cow on the other side.

Sure, and doing it under false pretenses is just like being a Secret Shopper. If her phones really weren't working, he was going to give her some coupons to the AT&T Store!

Project Veritas had a revenue of $22 million in 2020. They won't even notice this.

Until O'Keefe does jail time they won't stop. They have the money and power to just ignore any financial penalties.

So investigating liberals is now illegal, but we can investigate Republican Presidents as hard and as deep as we want? Seems like the judiciary has move to full on democratic fascism.
