I don't know, maybe convince the cast and crew of Survivor that that beach is where they need to tape the rest of the season.

My my my that news site is silly. In the body of the article it talks about a tweet that went viral with pics of said beasties, and the word twitter is a highlighted hyperlink. So you'd think given the context that if you clicked on it, it would show you the twitter post and the crocs pic. Nope. It takes you to another page on their own site that explains what twitter is. I can't even...

Crocodillians are probably my greatest fear from the animal kingdom.   ever since we rented Faces of Death, back in '86.

That "beach" is what needs quotes.

There's supposed to be a cold storm front moving down the West Coast of the North America over the next week. I wonder if that has changed the water temp further south and the crocks are responding?

FYI, read the article, they are Caiman, and they live there.  They are heating up and fishing during the dry season.  Move along people.

See you later, alligator.
In a while, crocodile.
It's been real, gharial.
Fark you and the horse you came in on, caiman.

They are not crocodiles and this is normal.

2022-09-16 6:18:28 PM
As the article says, they're caimans, sunny on the bank of a pond in the Pantanel, which is a huge, fresh water wetlands. They're native to the area, this is normal behavior, and the only panicking going on is the farking Daily Star, which is a Fleet Street clickbait POS tabloid.

I'm such an old journalist, I remember when it was a rule that an article needed to fulfill the headlines' promise.
That went out the door with internet 'nooze.'

Where do thousands of  crocodiles gather to mate?

Where-ever they want, baby.  Prove me wrong.
