It's safe to say Hoover ordered surveillance of every black athlete and entertainer that had a crossover appeal with white audiences.

Back in the 60s? And 70s, 80s, and through to the present day, government abuses are classified and hidden to protect a privileged class from any accountability and all liability.Tyranny isn't necessarily infrequent, brutish, and short; It's often a career and a pension.

I just see the things i do, the name of the puppet is not as important as the hand inside it.

So form me:

The FBI scared racist white culture in power during the 60's monitored Aretha Franklin's role in the civil rights movement for years.


It's like say'n "gubment" as the name of who is doing bad things, instead of naming the actual people who do make the choices are and the actors perpetrating the terribleness.

If we blame "gubment" or "FBI" today, then guess who is still doing it wrong and the baddie here today when we inherit it?

Are we just doomed to become the next evil by virtue of nothing more than taking up a position of power/authority?
If not then don't talk like it.

Its wild how many operatives back then were concerned with blacks having equal rights.

Was it on fark that i recently read, the white guy on the balcony at Martin Luther King's Assasination (who was pointing in the wrong direction) was later found to be an undercover federal agent.
