Rough weekend for WI sportsball.  I figured the Packers would probably lose to the Vikings but UW losing to WSU was a shocker.

The wife and I were camping this weekend so kinda glad I didn't watch that clown show. 🤦‍♂

Oh well, just sports...

I'm fine with the Brewers and Packers as they always have a good tank job this time of the year. But holy fark does Paul Chryst need to get fired. He is the Mike McCarthy of B1G. His offense is ancient in how it's run. He is losing in state  recruits now as a guy I went to college with has a 4-5star OL for a son in highschool FB in Wisconsin. The kid went to camps at UW and told current line coaches he wants to go there. Got recruited by Nebraska, MSU, Minnesota, and basically every MAC school. UW didn't offer him a scholarship. He's going to a MAC school (can't remember) next year. Apparently Chryst got angry that he wanted to get a degree in something that would be "interfering with football operations".  The kid wants to be a teacher. Oh well. his new college told him they will work with him to get his teaching degree and he won't redshirt. Badgers used to make sure they kept all OL recruits in state from leaving.

Ugh.  I'm slowly coming to the same realization.  I initially liked Chryst and thought he was doing a good job but lately that doesn't appear to be the case.

I wanted McCarthy gone years before he actually got fired.  But where would the Badgers go from here?  Make Jimmy HC?  Try and lure back DD?

The Vikings won easily yesterday, and I'm still not sure how to feel. That's so rare for the Vikings; their usual M.O. is to play brilliantly for three quarters and then act like they've never played football.

Jim being the HC would be good since he's not hanging around there much longer as DC. On the offense....get anyone that runs a offense that isn't from the 1990s.

I kinda appreciate Rodgers coming out as full douchebag, being a quasi-Packers fan, as now I almost kinda enjoy watching them lose.
