JasonOfOrillia: Well, his replacement got into Q2.

And will start in the top ten.

Did FP1 in an Aston, qualified in a Williams. Can't think of the last time anyone did that.

Get well soon Alex.

When I heard something useless was being removed at Williams, I wasn't expecting it to be Albon's appendix.

poconojoe: you know - with a starting lineup like that. gotta wonder if it's time for one of those batshiat crazy races that F1 puts on from time to time where the winner is someone that should never be anywhere close to a podium. kind of like when Gasly won - get the feeling this could be one of those kinds of races. hell - maybe a Haas might win. crowd might like it since they're a Ferrari farm team.

it won't happen, but it's Monza and it's a cool track to see them run

You don't remember that Ricciardo won this race last year, with Norris in 2nd?

There's some serious WTF in that grid. Verstappen in a Red Bull starting next to a guy in his first GP, in a Williams. McLaren locking out the second row. Hamilton and Tsunoda to resume their long rivalry....

/wasn't it 21 years ago this weekend when Montoya won his first F1 race? I remember they didn't show the race live here but on tape delay and already saw online that he won

Monza the last two years have given us Gasly and McLaren-style Ricciardo.

A combination of a super fast track and being around that time when grid penalties become the norm must help.

Latifi to be 21st out of 20 always a possibility after this race
