I thought the Portland track was great back in the 90's and the heyday of INdycar.  They had a Festival of Roses going on and the view of Mount St. Helens in the background.  Then Ayrton died, Mount St Helens blewe up, they added the "festival chicane" and everything went to shiat.

Gratuitous rumor: red bull CEO is on death's doorstep and he's looking to sell both RBR and AT. The Porsche announcement has been delayed cuz Newey and Mr Gingerspice are pushing back against a Porsche takeover. The Herta angle came about cuz AT may get sold to Andretti.
