Snoop used to rap about shooting cops. How the mighty have fallen. All that $$ must really soften the blow.

I heard something about it. I'll assume someone paid them, or they want to try and pop the price of their ass ugly apes.

"Snoop publicly talked up his plans to turn Death Row into an NFT-centric label that will also "put out artists through the metaverse"

So just throwing them in the trash then. Got it.

It can be hard to stay mad at society when said society has enabled you to sleep on top of a pile of money surrounded by beautiful people.

I would ask what that actually means, but asking crypto people things like that just gets you more buzzwords regurgitated back at you.

It could be relatively easy, if you can recognize that your experience is not the experience that the other 99.9% of people have.

But living in that money bubble is probably very tempting.

Yes it's basically an Ad for their NFTs and the Metaverse.

It's because they work for CAA who has invested in all of these things.  Snoop, Eminiem, Paris Hilton, Jimmy Fallon, Reese Witherspoon, and even Antony Hopkins have pushed NFTs and all of them work for CAA:

https://www.npr.org/transcripts/1108033471

(SOUNDBITE OF ARCHIVED RECORDING)
SNOOP DOGG: Top of the morning, y'all. What's crackaling (ph)? I don't know if y'all up on this NFT thing, but right now, it's available, so...
WONG: Oh, gosh, look over here. We got Jimmy Fallon and Anthony Hopkins - all celebrities that are talking up NFTs.
MA: And they have something else in common. They're all clients of the same talent agency. Anthony Hopkins signed up with this agency just months before tweeting about NFTs.
WONG: So that is why we are now arriving at the final stop of our Hollywood crypto tour - the offices of Creative Artists Agency, or CAA.
READ: CAA will send a team of highly trained assassins to kill me if I directly accuse them of pushing NFTs on all their clients. But it is notable that they, I do think, have a somewhat outsized stake in this particular world in a way that so far, it doesn't seem like the other big management or talent agencies in Hollywood do.
MA: Now, when we think about a talent agency, like traditionally, we just think about an agent, you know, chatting on the phone with their client and trying to get them a role in a blockbuster movie or landing them in a commercial or get their face on, like, a cereal box. But the industry has grown way more complex than that.
READ: Over the last 10 or 15 years, the talent agencies in Hollywood have sort of turned on the booster rockets. They've become extremely aggressive about expansion and growth.
WONG: And there's a reason for that.
Private equity firms have spent hundreds of millions of dollars to buy stakes in Hollywood talent agencies, including CAA. And we know private equity investors want to see growth.
MA: And so talent agencies are pursuing new revenue streams and becoming, like, these little conglomerates - right? - getting into production, acquiring other media companies and even making riskier bets like investing in startups.
WONG: CAA has put money into crypto ventures like MoonPay, a payment technology company, and OpenSea, the auction marketplace that sells the NFTs for Bored Apes and "Stoner Cats" and World of Women.

None of these people give a shiat about NFTs.  Do you think Anthony Hopkins cares about ugly cartoon apes?  They're getting paid to do so with various levels of endorsement effort.

This is just a pump and dump to enrich private equity.  That's all it is.  Did you really think it was the future of art and music?  These dumb ugly apes?

Going through youtubetv and saw what must have been a replay. Figured it was Snoop and Em so I'd give it a shot as I like them both. Made it about a minute and turned it. Just a weak performance and all the cgi shiat floating about was just goofy.

I know it's been said before, but the look of those BAYC and pretty much all NFTs is just absolutely f*cking atrocious.

An awful crossroads of gamer/stoner/vape store/deviant art. A neverending stream of garbage illustrations.

That's ridiculous.  Tardigrades' legs are way too short for a penny farthing bike.  Sheesh.

What's this Eminem?
Sounds like one is a demented children's Peanuts character and the other is a sweet children's candy.

/using the word "children" a lot

Considering who they were pandering to about 50 percent of these morons bought something.
It's good to have no real endgame but still rake on the cash from stupid teenagers.

In an NFT thread, I'm not sure it really matters. Just throw any crap you have against the wall, it'll probably stick.
