OK article. Explain how this statement

Professor Apostolopoulos said it looked like the virus was mild and went away on its own.

Fits with this horror.

It's been called tomato virus because of the eruption of red and painful blisters throughout the body and some can grow as big as a tomato and are red like the fruit.

Intense joint pain is another symptom association with the virus.

Well, this explains why my tomatoes pegged out early this year.  I didn't know we were diagnosing viruses in plants.  Science really amazes me.

"It's got nothing to do with tomatoes or eating tomatoes"

Does this mean people are going to start doing hate crimes against Italians?  They haven't gotten this kind of bad PR in a while...

Just wait until Return.

/The theme song still remains the same, the plot itself has hardly changed, a guaranteed bet for fortune and fame! "Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes!"
/Look, it's George Clooney!

Ivo Shandor: Nurgle's having a good year.

TFA says it's a variant of hand, foot, and mouth. This version the sores are painful, but its no more fatal than the super common variant.

Although, HFMD usually has little bitty blisters, so tomato sized ones are pretty wild.

Seems it'd have the potential to be somewhat disfiguring.  I mean not like elephant man time but extensive, large blisters can scar you up some

"Mild" means your blood O2 saturation stays above 95% as you scream in pain for hours.

"Goes away on its own" means no treatment is available.

Hope that helps.

A "variant of foot and mouth disease," huh?  I'm 68, but still remember chewing my toenails as a kid.  I'm surprised I didn't catch it.  Wonders never cease.
