This is not an uncommon occurrence. At all. It's almost as common as a person who is appearing in court for driving under a suspended/no license being arrested when they try to drive away after their court hearing.

My one and only time in court, was traffic court when I was 21

The guy who case was before mine must of had quite a history because the judge got aggravated  and the dude started yelling at the judge as the bailifs took him away, a whole scene.  My little speeding ticket was next.

I'm not a huge fan of drug laws, but this is really asking for it and I don't feel sorry for them.

Can't fix stupid.

There was a huge operation here where they monitored the parking lot of the probation department and busted all the DWI guys (and girls) with no license illegally driving to probation.  They got a LOT of people for violation of probation.
