Seems like kind of inefficient for a strategy.

We had a few last year. We are now killing 20 plus a day and these are just the ones landing on my screened in porch.

First guy quoted says "I'll catch and release cockroaches if I find them in my apartment."  Where do you even find these people?  Who passes up perfectly good (and eco-friendly!) food when grocery prices are so high?

Fun fact, both the stinkbug and spotted lanternfly were first identified in Allentown, PA. I think we need to nuke the whole city before the next invasive bug comes.

An invasive, destructive species?
Sounds a lot like humans

Perhaps the same policy should apply...

I would've thought birds, bats, and cats would step up in an urban environment. I don't purport to be an expert, though.

There are less this year around here... so far. I only killed 4. I refer to them as 'China Bugs'.

Both hitched a ride from China.  The LV is only mentioned because that's where the bugs disembarked.   Maybe we could save Lentz's and nuke the rest of Allentown though?

Globalism: The gift that keeps on giving

I'm sure that there were no available quarries in the US right? That the Chinese laborers were paid a fair wage with a robust benefits package?

Goddamn stink bugs are the reason I can't enjoy cilantro on my tacos anymore, thanks a bunch

I, for one, am upset that they've been taken over by Big Bug to keep the wool over our eyes. They can't keep their horrible agenda hidden forever!

God I hate stink bugs. Really, I have disdain for any species that doesn't seem to posses any survival instincts. Imagine living in a world of 100 foot-tall man-eating monsters and thinking, "I'll just rest here on top of its head."

I get about 5 a day now, I smash them then put them on a small bird feeder platform as an offering to the crows. I'm pretty sure the wind just ends up blowing them away

Sorry, can't do that.  I have cats, a dog and a parrot who takes care of bugs for me.

Yes, I'm a wimp and can't kill anything without a guilt trip.

Was at a job site in NYC yesterday and they're everywhere. Set of stairs inside the building had at least one on every step. I think we're too late at this point to make any significant difference.

They're annoyingly fast too.

/salt gun does wonders for immobilizing/stunning them so I can stomp 'em
//doesn't kill them though

Just checking on the yard and killed two of them.

That's what someone needs to work on a genetically engineered virus for. Those, stinkbugs, and the stupid Japanese Knotweed I keep mowing down.
