The difference is that the US is a single land mass that is largely flat in the middle, Europe is not like that.

Pretty much during tornado season. every few years we have whole towns obliterated. with global warming, i'll give some leeway, things are changing around the world. It might not just be the US midwest getting all the fun in the future.

/this is not even counting derechos we experience
