"After being entertained by the films for so many years, fans now have the chance to experience Jumanji in a whole new dimension and we are thrilled to be going on this exciting adventure with the creative team at Chessington as Jumanji further expands with its very own themed land," said a Sony executive in a release.

Do they create these marketing talking heads in a lab?

Sony execs, everybody, let's give 'em a round of applause!

Finger firmly on the pulse on what "the kids want"

*eyeroll*

Will there be park characters dressed up as Karen Gillan's from the movies? That'd seriously up the attendance of desperate, horny twenty-somethings.

Haven't there been very recent, successful films based on Jumanji?

It's not like they're making a Kindergarten Cop attraction

To be fair (Toooo beeee faaair)....there's an entire section of Universe Studios dedicated to King Kong, who hadn't been in a single movie for 16 years before Godzilla vs King Kong.

Is subby so old and out of touch they don't know The Rock did movie versions in 2017 and 2019?

But King Kong was a farking legend for decades. How long had people been making Jumanji references? If I went on tvtropes I bet I could find dozens of homages, ripoffs, parodies and other cultural weight coming off that big ape.

"What year is it?" is a line from the Robin Williams Jumanji that's become a meme on the interwebs.

The year is nineteen-dickety-two

Your park designers were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn't stop to think if they should.

The same could be said in regard to quoting Jeff Goldblum.

Jeff Goldblum sucks.

His speech affectations (words... ummm... words ... ummm... words) are more annoying than Shatner. He does it in every speaking role he's ever had.

A wet paper bag can contain his "acting" ability.

Being okay with the joke is one thing. Playing into it in every performance gets old fast.

FFS, even Ernest knew when to pull it back.
