Same for last night but it was very cloudy.

In the early 2000s, there was an aurora bright enough that I was able to see it from a well lit parking lot at the St. Louis airport, so they can be bright enough to view in cities. Very, very rare, most of the aurora I've seen has been in the UP of Michigan.

Who's the chief meteorologist of the sun?  Get them on the news with their 5 day outlook please.  I need to if it is going to be high or low magnetization and what % chance of electronic disruption.

Or is it going to be more like this...

Awesome.   I'm taking the family to Finland this winter (they want to see Santa, I want to be north of the arctic circle) and am trying to impress on them how cool the borealis is.    I have seen them once in my entire life this far south, so hopefully it will show up again and they can fark Santa, and go sciencing instead.

Did we hit 500keV?

500 MeV?

500 TeV?

I need to calculate how much shielding I needed last night to survive.
