My wife and I have actually stayed on the Newport Belle twice over the years. The most recent visit was over a decade ago, and it was in fine shape at the time. I had no idea that she jad been so badly neglected since then. It's great to see that someone has invested the time and effort to bring her back from the brink. Still, I feel an opportunity has been missed, as "The Paddle Wheeler" sounds like a great name for a floating S&M dungeon.

That thing looks scary top heavy. I assume it isn't, or it would have rolled long ago, but still.

I'm curious how much draft it has and what is the ballast.

Newport they could call it the Crab Flapper if it's a paddle boat.
