I hope Democratic candidates can keep it up and push hard against Republicans. Nail them against the wall while they scream in protest. Make them impotent in their rage while their pole numbers go flaccid.

They can also go fark themselves.

She's running for governor but a few siphoned votes from Tim Michels wouldn't go amiss.

I love my state. I am anywhere from 6th to 4th generation Wisconsinite, depending on what line I am following. I hate so many of the things that have happened recently like gerrymandering a GOP majority in both state houses and the fact that Johnson has been a senator for the last 12 years. We really are a purple state that skews slightly left in statewide elections and am looking forward to getting back to our reputation as independent and progressive. Don't know if it will happen but there is hope. If Barnes wins, our senators will be a black man and an openly gay woman. This is the Wisconsin I know and love.

After 6 weeks of Wrong's "Biden's INFLATION BAD BAD BAD" radio and TV spots, they are now shifting to (and this is 100% verbatim, I swear) "Barnes wants to spend ALL YOUR MONEY ".

Not hyperbole.

The ad I find amusing right now is Tim Scott, senator from South Carolina, telling us all the things that are wrong with this country need new leadership to fix, so we should vote for Johnson for a third term.

Actually, that does go along with all of Johnson's ads talking about how everything in this country has gone down hill since he was first elected 12 years ago, but he'll fix it all if we reelect him.

I'm with ya. Our state can be summed up by our motto, "Forward". The s__tf__kery since Gov FAS took office in 2011 has devastated the state.

Yeah, he has been shooting off about what he really thinks about things like how SS is really an entitlement and needs to be cut and the money taken and Medicare too. Now he is off about how reducing drug prices would cut into drug company profits; can't have that. Now that he can't "fight inflation by voting against everything" they are running some Citizen Kane like ads that talk about how great he is and how he totally started his wife's company and did all the work there and all his employees love him. And of course the election was stolen and he even tried to personally hand the fake Wisconsin electors to Pence. FRJ.

I can't believe it can, and very well should, be put quite this simply. Add in his scintillating world-class ventures into foreign policy, and wow...

It's a never-ending series of facepalms with this guy; he's truly earned the 'Wrong' nickname. But he and his derp-laden ads playing to purely economic issues will surely play well out in the hinterlands.

All the very best to Mandela Barnes.

GOILLINI: He was behind at the last election, too. Then the jackape came back.

In 2016 Johnson had less name recognition (even as the incumbent) and was still the Generic Republican who hadn't yet made a habit of shooting his own dick off with his extemporaneous comments approving literally everything people hate, and he ran TV ads telling everyone what a nice guy he was. That may not be so effective this time because in the last six years he's made a name for himself, and people don't like it.

I don't understand the massive love for SpottedCow.

It's yellow beer that tastes much better than macro yellow beers, and for the hoi polloi that's enough. IMO it's no higher than NG's fifth best beer. I'd grab a Moon Man, Totally Naked or Two Women any day before a Spotted Cow.

First time I saw it I thought it was an ad FOR Barnes. I'm like yep I want him to e for those things.
