When my ex wife moved to Norway marry her new internet boyfriend she left one of those big water cooler water bottle subscriptions going in my name and I didn't know it was in my name. Didn't realize that it was an ongoing subscription and in my name for a couple of years and by then my credit was farked. Also left me with her 2 cats. My company was raided by the irs and laid us all over shortly after. So I was ditched, alone, broke, with extra pets that weren't mine, debt that wasn't mine, trying to keep my now single head above starving. To say I was in a spiraling vortex of depression and suck is to underestimate how sucky and depressed I was.

At least the subscription kept you well hydrated.

I had the "easiest" divorce only known to those who make movies about getting hitched in Vegas and have a zany comedy for a month before getting anulled.

The only thing she took that was mine or "our" was a piece of jewelry that she gave to me for my 25th birthday, and the dutch oven wedding gift.

All of her other piles of garbage and useless crap she left. I wish she had cleaned me out, would have saved me the trouble of hauling this crap around to the dump.

given the amount of crap Mrs. Scarf bring into the house that i have no want, need or wish for i have had the thought "if we ever got divorced i'd definitely need to get something written in that she pays for the movers and dump fees to get rid of all the is crap."

I had a roommate just disappear one time, stuff was gone, truck was gone, not answering the phone. Left a very cheap, ineffective safe in his closet. After a little prying I got it open and found a treasure trove of drugs. I knew some people who were willing to take them off my hands and got a decent chunk of cash for it, which helped cover his rent.

The ex would stop by our (my) place and take things...backyard BBQ, record albums, etc.  I finally called her on it and she promised to stop doing that.

As a precaution, I had the locks re-keyed...no, I didn't tell her.  She call me up the next day to ask why I did that.

//yes...she was that stupid.  In fact, that's my family's nickname for her.

Not me, but my friend's fiance left his dad's ashes behind when he moved out.  She kept them safe because she said his dad liked her better than his son anyway (and what else do you DO with someone's dad's ashes?). They are with her mom's ashes on the mantle.
He also left all his D&D stuff which Mr Spawn has now.

Never dip your dick in stupid or crazy. I did and the house and every thing in it went to her. Kindly she left me 3 garbage bags of my clothes and some nude pictures of her. I was happy to be gone and throw out the pictures.

Leave stuff?  Every gf who ever broke up with me wound up taking my shiat.  Music, cash, my favorite shirt, all the best concert T's, you name it they walked out with it.  I never had a girl take my dog, but I know two guys who it happened to, which I think just farking sucks, but honestly don't buy a pet with someone you aren't gonna marry, it just ends badly.
