The new ones always come out in the fall. They could reprint this article every year.

Did Rick Romero come out of retirement to write this?

Just increment the version number.

"...now is the worst time to buy an iPhone."

Well, yeah.

i was given a newish samsung phone by my Dad. I didn't understand why he was giving me a nearly new phone until I went to stick it in my pocket. It doesn't fit in most of my pant's pockets. It's farking enormous. I may as well get rid of my TV and tape this monstrosity to the wall.

Heh. I'm now imagining Rick getting a royalty check every year for obvious articles while a script just replaces the variables in a template.

Still using my 11 pro max. Battery is holding strong, so as long as that keeps up, I'm not looking to upgrade for a few more years.

I love my ginormous Samsung phone. It's large enough that I can see everything and my chubby fingers don't accidentally press the wrong icon. Fits in my pocket okay. I bet if you put on an extra fifty pounds and buy some bigger pants it will fit just fine.

I'd say, keep any working iPhone until you stop getting security updates.

E.g. if I had a 6S, I'd start to look for a replacement.
