I'm waiting to see Etherium move to proof of stake.  If it actually happens, and then survives, that's going to be a nice monopoly to have a piece of.  If it survives....  But it's all going to come crashing down first.  I have no idea what in the world is holding the stock market up in the air, mostly bubble gum and bailing wire and stock fraud via strategic short selling.  We're right at the top of a roller coaster ride.

So 'improve the company's financial position' is to be in a position which has nothing to do with crypto exchange. Makes sense.

Man it has gotta suck to be the 0.1% of users that own more tyan 40% of all tye Crypto.

With such dwindling trading volume, where are all the suckers going to come from to buy their magical distributed database entries?

The P/E of the S&P is just over 21.  That's not too expensive.  There are also some firms handing out a fat dividend.  Verizon's yield is 4.72%.  Treat it like a savings account.

In other news, asset with no value has no value. Very few people want in at the bottom of the pyramid.

Should be happening next month unless they announce another delay during their developers meeting this Thursday. I'm guessing they will.

The code is only as good as the coders.

If there's one things everyone has learned over. and over, and OVER again about crypto and NFTs in the last few years, it is that developers working on related coding never, never..I mean REPEATEDLY FARK UP and leave security holes and just bad code through which countless people's life savings have been lost. Surely, sometimes these "mistakes" are by design.

The code is only as good as the coders.

Would you give a bag full of your money for safekeeping to a network of random strangers you never met, who have no insurance, and who have repeatedly lost the life savings of others over the past few years?

If the answer is yes, you're an idiot.

Traditional banks are secure, have insurance, are convenient (no hard wallet bullshiat) , and may not have perfect code but there is NO traditional banking crisis of countless people losing life savings due to endless cases of "oops we programmed a security flaw. Our bad, your loss!"

Why the 'Code is Law' principle is a joke in a nutshell.

That's one of the reasons why I believe they'll delay the PoS again. It looks like there are some issues with the core principles which makes it exploitable.

It's NOT a bug, it's a feature!

I'm wondering why you are saying they'll delay - it just passed the third and final testnet merge last week. Sure looks like it's all systems go for Mid-September.

I'm basing my opinion on the current crypto market situation, the possible exploits and the fact that they delayed it several times before and the difficulties in executing it successfully. Who knows, I could be wrong. We'll see next month.

Regulation will be the death of crypto. It's another cost to already worthless vapor.

You have no idea, yet you make predictions. OK.
