Fail?  Meh.  He was dealt a crap hand from day one, and never dealt new cards.  The only reason they're not on track for another 100+ loss season again is because of Martin Perez's surprise season.

Not going to get better in Arlington anytime soon. Owners got cheap after the Series runs, backed the wrong executives, and let everything fall apart. The "spending spree" before this season was the most effort the front office has put into the team in years (and predictably, it's not working).

I didn't think Woodward was a good fit, but the whole organization is a mess.

They should have kept Bannister around honestly. At this point we're just playing musical managers.
