Yes, the lensflare is way overdone, but I love Star Trek 2009. Don't remember much of the sequel and didn't see the 3rd, but that 1st one is just pure fun.

This is a pretty awesome find.

First one best one.  Second one good, third one, meh.  I would absolutely watch the shiat out of a fourth.

They were fine... not everything is supposed to be great.

I may be intoxicated so my standards in movies, (as with women) is a little lower right now.

I like Zach Quinto's Spock much better than Leonard Nimoy's.  Quinto does a better job of playing up the conflict between his human and Vulcan side, whereas Nimoy was usually indistinguishable from a full-blooded Vulcan.  Quinto also did a really good job of exploring Spock's motivations and ambitions in the first movie.

The third one was going pretty well until they decided that a motorcycle stunt and some Beastie Boys would save the day.
