I keep looking back at ice cream stuff and every time I check the sugar content and Hot Jesus that's a lot of sugar for such a small portion. Like 45+ grams. F

I haven't had that stuff in forever.  I should get some.

Is that like a reverse trick or treat? Prank the kids by telling them you're going to give them ice cream and then give them that?

Good job on the headline, subby.  Every visit, it takes me a few trips to a chip stand before I get used to the magic run-on word: "doyouwantgravyonthefries?"

Chip stand?  Do you mean Chippies?  You don't sound like a Chipper.

I almost ordered some all dressed chips because it's been so long since I've had them since I haven't been to Canada in over 3 or 4 years.

But good Lord those were expensive to get here.

I would love to try this ice cream though.

A ribbon of black licorice concentrated pure evil swirled into an orange-flavored ice cream base gives this tiger its stripes.

having studied Trailer Park Boys in great detail and repetition I have learned there are a metric butt-load of foods and treats Canadians have the 'muricans don't.

Ooh I haven't had tiger ice cream in *years*.  I had no idea it was a Canadian thing.

For everyone saying it sounds disgusting and 'hard pass' just try it if you get the chance.  I loathe black liquorice but it works so well with the orange.

We got back yesterday from a 4,200-mile road trip to North Ontario. The bags of All Dressed chips didn't even make it all the way home.

I dunno, subby.  I'd try it.  I like licorice.

It's funny to me that so many Farkers have decided they hate it without making the effort to try it.

I wonder if it's because they think it makes them look smarter if they automatically decry anything weird or new.

Bad news, guys.

Mrs. JFC hates black licorice with a fiery passion, but woe unto them who stand in the way of her Tiger cone. It shouldn't make any sense, but that creamsicle ice cream must somehow cancel out the section of the brain dedicated to black licorice disgust.

See: Fark when a beer is anything other than a cheap flavorless lager

Anyways black licorice ice cream is a regional thing where I'm from. It tastes more like an anise Italian cookie than the rubbery candy. It's tasty IMHO.

As an avid disliked of liquorice, tiger ice cream is a fantastically balanced flavour.

Happy a bunch of close-minded picky eaters will never touch it because it's more for me!

Oh, I love Pazells, I think I'd give that a try then. Thank you for sharing because otherwise I would have avoided it like the plague.

I would totally try this. I like black licorice in anything except jelly beans.
Last time I went out for ice cream I was on a road trip, and they offered spumoni. I remembered that it was a favorite of one of my parents, but my sister and I disagreed on which one. It's pretty much the fruitcake of the ice cream world, but I liked it .

I really don't like black licorice flavour at all, can't stand sambuca, blech.   But I fookin LOVED that citrus flavour.  So I'd carve out as much as I could (never a cone obvs) and give the black part to my brother who liked getting the extra ice cream.

Thanks subs, been a while.
