OldRod: Gluten free?

Brownies are one of the few baked items that taste as good, if not better, when made gluten free. They have a very small amount of flour in them to begin with and the less flour, the more chocolate, plus using some substitutes (almost flour, coconut flour, etc.) actually can enhance the chocolate flavor rather rather than detracting from it.

I'd sample her brownies. I might even try her baked goods too.

I just about destroyed a pan of brownies after re-decking the roof on my garden shed. Seems like I'm gonna need another batch to recover from shingling it, and this recipe might do the trick.

What is "Almost Flour"? Is it made from cellulose?

You can go for her fudge brownies. I'll snack on her pinkies.

It's what auto-correct turns almond flour into at a guess.  Luddite's correct too - brownies are very easy to go gluten free on - hell some specialty brownies have no flour in them for other reasons already.  Just search flourless brownies you'll get plenty of results, and a lot of them aren't even for diet options they're just made that way

It's autocorrect-speak for "almond flour."

No one wants cellulose flour in any case - I hear those cell foam flours give you cancer with the 5g and all

best damn Brownies I've ever had - and I'm a very fat old near toothless treat lover - are a Weight Watchers recipe and they're made with chick peas. no shiat. you would never know it to taste them. frickin' delicious. google for yourself and try it out on your brats. don't tell them it's low fat or healthy. they don't need to know, the little shiats.
