Trump had no regard for the classification system.

He would carry sensitive material out of the office

God knows what he did with it

THEN WHY THE FARK DIDN'T YOU DO SOMETHING???

ANYTHING??

Ron Filipkowski :

Why would we worry about a guy who hauled off a horde of top secret documents who:

1. Disclosed to the president of the Philippines on the phone the location of our nuclear subs off N. Korea.

2. Blabbed to the press UK classified info about the Manchester bombing.

3. Confiscated and kept his interpreter's notes after his private meeting with Putin.

4. Posted a video on twitter of Seal Team 5 from Al Asad airbase revealing their faces and location.

5. Tweeted a classified photo of Iran's Imam Khomeini Spaceport.

That's why they misspelled it as "Mar-a-Largo" in the search warrant.

I'm kind of surprised the national intelligence services let him go on like that. They killed JFK for trying to reel in tensions with the USSR while Trump was more of a right-wing blowhard... Oh, I see it now...

Probably the same reason he won't see prison time. At least...not in any normal prison. I wonder if they could build him a special prison cell on Mar-a-Lago.

Iron hurts the Fae (fairies). Evil entities respond negatively to articles of faith. Think of articles of faith as things like...crosses, lightsabers or a single ring worn around the neck.

It has to be a personally significant to you. For example...if you believe in the US Postal Service...you'd need a letter because a cross isn't going to do shiat. Just think of the concept or entity that you have the most faith in and you'll discover what your personal article of faith might be.

/ for some...the article of their faith might be a colander.

Pretty sure that's why he thought he knew better. Because when they said "this is what we got through intelligence...", he was like, "Hold my hamburder."

TFG's handlers have exploited this contempt for intelligence.

Who knows how much of this multiyear attack on sensitive knowledge contributed to the aggression on Ukraine, US interests in the middle east, and the world's interest in preventing humanitarian catastrophes which millions of war refugees entails.

So do forever stamps count as indulgences? Is there a feat to take that helps you cover so many miles in a day with no rest? Can you charm animal with special treats?

Because republicans are above the law, and they believe in "work makes free", like they believe in rebuilding the USSR with Putin.
By rewriting the US Constitution no less.

Trump needs to be charged with something very soon or Garland will continue his reign of mediocrity. Thank god he didn't end up on the SC. He would've sucked worse there vs his current position.

Yeah, you're thinking too hard about this one.

The political class have always been allowed to pull this kind of thing. It's why no charges were brought against at least a dozen or so politicians who have violated the same laws.

Barbara Boxer is a good example.

The question comes down to whether it's egregious enough that they do something about it. Considering how many people truly hate TFG on both sides of the aisle (even if they don't want to admit it on the right), there's a bit of a chance that they might actually do something.

But I wouldn't hold your breath. If the last few decades have shown us anything, the whole thing is a sham. The rules are only meant for us little people.

He's not really going to be anyway. Even if he was convicted of all of them tomorrow, the worst they will do is prevent him from holding office again. And maybe some kind of token fine.
Lot of money spent for very little satisfaction.

He's one of the dumbest people on the planet, which is why he's convinced he's one of the smartest people on the planet.

Even Idiocracy wasn't pessimistic enough to envision Trump's America.  In Idiocracy everyone was stupid, but the President of the Motherfarking United States of America (HOORAH) actually knew he wasn't very good at doing things so he hired the smartest man in the US to make decisions for him.  Which makes him 100000x smarter than Trump, who is the Dunning-Kruger poster boy because he doesn't even know how stupid and incompetent he is.

The number of people who will stand there and watch as ANYONE does something wrong or dangerous is not insignificant. We call police and firefighters "heroes" not because of anything intrinsic about them, but because they are the few people who will REGULARLY act when something horrible is happening. Very few people want to be the first one to say "You shouldn't do that" or "That isn't the way that's done," and they'll wait to see who goes first. Even if lives are on the line, the brave one is the one who goes FIRST, not the ones who follow him in.

Criminals like Trump (and Hitler before him, and a lot of other lesser scumbags) know this, and they push the envelope early and blatantly to see what they'll get away with. Hitler famously broke the German Army with one stroke by accusing the chief of staff, a highly respected WWI general named Fristch, of being homosexual. Outraged at this affront to his honor, Fritsch resigned, sure the rest of the general staff would have his back. No one dared...and Hitler had their balls in his pocket from that day forward.

Trump did the same thing with even less finesse, by yelling and throwing temper tantrums and just doing what he wanted like the big fat baby that he is. "I don't care, I'm going to do this thing." And nobody around him had the balls to say "I'm sorry, Mr. President, you cannot take TS/SCI documents out of the White House," and then taking them back and enduring the screaming fit that followed. And once the first taboo was broken, it was downhill from there.
