I-90 is a biatch to drive on without an obstacle like this. It's a good thing this didn't happen on a week day. It would've been an absolute shiat show otherwise.

Huh...It's a really shallow curve so they must have either swerved hard to avoid a collision or got a random gust of crosswind.  That area's right next to the river and it's not unusual for it to be windy, but it's not like "middle of Kansas topple 18-wheelers" windy.  It tends to top out at like 15-20mph winds unless there's a storm.

CSB: I like hearing dudes in Mass and surrounding states refer to those oversized cases of cheap beer as "30-racks." And of course they buy them at the package store/"packie"

Not sure if that's a New England thing but it's the only place I hear it in my personal travels

Maybe said driver decided to test some of the wares he was delivering?

It's gonna take a lot of Miller light to clean that mess up...

The whole package store thing was/is.  Dunno about 30-rack.  It might be.  It's the only place I've heard it, but it's also the only place I've lived where I was also involved in the purchase of that kind of product.  Beer spheres / beer balls were another one.

Honestly, calling it a package store is fading, at least in metro Boston.  People still do it, but if they're under the age of, I dunno, 35ish then there's a good chance they've made a conscious decision to start calling it that at some point.  There's an annoying subset of people from New England who cultivate or start playing up the whole "blue collar local persona" with word choice and accent sometime around the high school or college age, despite not having those things as a kid.

Back when I started drinking a case of beer was 24 bottles in a case of reusable bottles. Our favorite was the 16 oz. bottles from Genesee Brewing Company which we called Genny Pounders. We could get pretty toasted after work on a shot and a beer for 3 bucks at the corner tavern. Good times.

On a related note, my mom used to have a copy of this taped to our front window because of the one time the Schwan's Ice Cream truck broke down outside our house. (Did any of you Farkers have Schwan's the weekly or bi-weekly ice cream delivery company in your area?)

I haven't ever bought from them, but I see one of their trucks while driving at least once a month.

Without knowing what brands were lost, I am uncertain as to the amount edginess or farks to give.

Speaking of "brands" however, I would not be surprised if the Masshole cops used this as a golden excuse to arrest as many off-color drivers as possible for "smelling strongly of alcohol", as that would be on brand for them.

"Spilling alchohol" can be added to any sentence that ends "in Massachusetts".
