Zach Wilson felt the karmic retribution for the Jets' late hit on Hurts earlier in the game.

Jets new offensive scheme.

I remember when Rex Grossman tore his ACL in a 2004 preseason game. The season was lost, but the Bears got a top-5 pick which they used to draft Aaron Rodgers Cedric Benson... goddammitsomuch.

/one of the Bears more notorious busts considering what's become of Rodgers

looks like they may have won the Jimmy G sweepbreaks.  probably better chance to win with him under center

They've got Flacco as a backup. We know Flacco can win games if you put a good team around him. Hmm, yeah, the Jets are screwed.

Zach Wilson's middle name is Kapono.

Flacco is collecting Social Security and walks with a walker.

So I was watching the Browns games and I can only say that as long as the Jags are around, the Jets will never be the worst team in the league.

I mentioned this in the thread yesterday, but not torn, just a bone bruise it was reported this morning. Lucky break. Unusual for the Jets.

"Jets' season already in peril after Zach Wilson's injury."

You say that almost like there was a chance the Jets' season wasn't going to be in peril...

Aw, man. Now the Jets won't win the Super Bowl this year.

This is why preseason should be completely eliminated. Make your roster cuts at the end of a longer training camp. Or, make preseason games flag-football...and yes, I am serious.

New?

The same scheme was in place when Herm Edwards would call for a 2 yard screen pass on 3rd and 9.

He's no Kevin White.

In their defense, a whole bunch of teams passed on Aaron Rodgers.

In hindsight, we should have seen how bad the Ryan Pace era was going to be after how that pick turned out. Every first round pick of his has been a failure for the Bears and Roquan can continue that trend if he leaves town without getting them anything in return.

True, and it wasn't exactly a position of need for the Bears with them having spent a first round pick on Sexy Rexy two years before. But had they known he would end up with the Packers and become the second coming of Steve Young while tormenting them for 15 years... yeah, they'd like to have that one back.

It's only becoming apparent to the average fan now how much of a douchebag Rogers really is. I can only think that must have shined through in his predraft interviews, though, and made some teams leery of having to put up with his shiat. Based solely on what he did on the field in college, there was no reason for anybody not to draft him.
