It's almost as if coups and sedition are frowned upon.

Linds, maybe you should have listened to yourself and trusted your gut on how bad Trump was going to be for the country, because while you can skip and ignore things for a bit, Hell IS a comin' for you and yours, and the tide of history will not be kind to your lot.

Yep, a real shame.

Well, he doesn't appreciate beauty, and I doubt he has any fond memories.  So, I'm sure his photo collection is full of rape, murder, and worse.

I doubt that the Governor of South Carolina will sign off on an extradition warrant. And then Blanche gets to fight that warrant in court, too.

And if I gonna get arrested, I'd rather it be by Andy Taylor's deputies than anyone else. Well, maybe by Cagney and Lacey, or "Pepper" Anderson.

Probably not since it's a state court. IANAL, but I think the most they can do is hold him in contempt of court.
I suppose the court could issue an arrest warrant on Lindsey, but unless he's apprehended in GA I doubt any adjacent state would enforce it.
Even if a SC LEO enforced it, GA would have to ask SC governor Foghorn Leghorn.... er, governor McMaster to extradite Lindsey to Georgia, which won't happen.

Senators can't be arrested on their way to Congress. It's an explicit rule because a harassing arrest or otherwise maliciously delaying a Senator so they can't appear in Congress was a much bigger deal in the days of horse travel and no internet.

They're not the party of fiscal responsibility either.  Deficits always soar when they're in charge, and it's spent on stuff that doesn't return money to the economy, like defense spending and tax breaks for the rich.  Trickle down doesn't work.

And they're not the party of family values, either.  Kidnapping children as border policy is evil, pure and simple.

Yeah because states never enforce out of state warrants? If a Geogia judge issues an arrest warrant, even for Jay walking, and that person is stopped by LEO in another state and that cop runs a check that warrant will show up and that person is going to get hauled in. That does not mean that person can't fight extradition back to Georgia, but the arrest warrant would be enforced.

It doesn't of course.  Lindsay on his way to work?  Which is it, Article One?  That sets out the strictures for Congress?  You know, the one that specifies that a member if the legislature may not be hindered in their travels to Congress?  You know.  The one rooted in nearly 8 centuries of common law?  Anyway, that part.

Fair enough.  My interpretation was on his way to work implied Congress, him being a Senator and all.  Of course in your example the DC Metro cops would be doing the cheering.  The Capitol police are involved with federal buildings.

it's farked.  They need to understand that some of us dislike Trump for non-political reasons.  I suspect a lot of so called "Trump haters" are simply people being reminded of their childhood abuse via toxic masculinity whenever Trump oranges up the TV. We've met people like him all our lives and instantly know what he's about.

It's simply a bad reflection on anyone who supports Trump.

One time when Biden was  in third grade, his teacher said no chewing gum in class.  Then Biden took out a stick of Juicy Fruit and started chewing on it.  The teacher asked if he had enough for the whole class.  He said no because there's only like five sticks in a pack.  The other kids were really sad and the teacher was upset.  So, you see, it's really no biggie that Lindseybug might maybe have participated in a bit of sedition and treason with Dumpy.  Why do people keep asking about it anyway?  Jeesh.
