He was just there, so he could go get more wine.

Rather the vehicle was safely parked

Well, safely parked with the rim sheared off of the wheel spokes.

They had to physically restrain him to get the blood sample?  Surprised they didn't tack on resisting arrest with violence.

"failing to surrender proof of security"

What in the world is that?

My original thought on all of this was that Lynch was having a party at his house or was at a party, heard in the wee hours someone was slashing his tires, and drunkenly gave chase. This is sounding a lot more like a drug induced joyride now based on the comments that police could trace damage to the car leading to where they found him, but I suppose it's also remotely possible someone stole the car, joyrided, and he used onboard GPS to drunkenly find it and decided to sleep it off after finding it trashed? I'm sure that is the argument his lawyer will use, but it feels incredibly implausible unless he can produce an Uber receipt or something.

He's a few blocks from the strip. That car is gonna be on a bunch of security cams. Fun guy but damn dude, grow the fark up already. Forget that you are stupid rich. You're 36 years old fer chrissakes. This is AT LEAST his third serious driving while seriously farked up legal issue. Hit the rehab before you kill someone jackass.

Wow. His lawyer is extremely full of shiat. That's a pretty slam dunk DUI there.

And whoever had the theory that someone stole his car and blah blah blah, yeah, that's not what happened. What happened is marshawn got super farked up and wrecked his car and then drove around on the rim like a moron. If there's a silver lining here it's that he will now have a professional driver. This is at least his third felony DUI so he will not be needing a car for a while. Perhaps he will become accustomed to having a driver and avoid this happening in the future.

Or alternately remember that he is stupid rich and could easily afford to hire a private driver or at least call an uber.  If someone wants to drink themselves to death that's their prerogative, but dammit don't endanger anyone else along the way.
