SpectroBoy: Needs mayonnaise.

Wrong Claire.  This is dessert Claire (Saffitz), not mayo-all-the-things Claire (Lower).

Blueberry pie is either the best or the worst incarnation of pie. If you pick them yourself in the wild (not a farking farm) preferably around a waterbody, it can be the greatest. If not, you might as well be eating a stale dog turd.

This one is the far superior, and better-looking Claire.

I'll take the mayo version of the pie instead of the cat hair and Toxoplasma gondii version

"You just have never had Toxoplasma gondii dobe right, drjekel!"

/proud supporter of the death penalty for anyone that uses "You just haven't had X done right" unironically

I'm sure the recipe makes a delicious dessert.

Or if you grow them yourself and pick them when they are actually ripe - one by one.  I have ten bushes, all different, so I'm picking from June through September.

It's amazing the difference a Tbs (15 ml) of lemon juice can make in a blueberry pie.

No. They must be wild and stolen from private property. I don't make the rules.  But you keep your lemon juice to compensate for the lack of tartness in your sad domesticated soulless blueberries. Your mournful blueberries.

skyotter: CLAIRE FIGHT

There's no fight. One of these women is a chef, and the other is a blogger for LifeHacker. Chef isn't exactly in the upper castes of the western world, but crap journalist is just barely above skid row junkie.
