(Twitter)   Rural Tennessee school district is running out of plastic forks, so obviously this all Joe Biden's fault. And yes, this is exactly what Republicans think   (twitter.com) divider line

GIVE THE SCHOOLS MORE MONEY YOU F*CKING TRASHBAG

Just tell the kids to come to school with pointy sticks. It's farking Tennessee; how much fancy dinin' do these schoolkids need? I thought you were about rugged individualism and can-do positivity, Marsha. What a disappointment.

I mean you could invest in a dishwasher, some silverware, and create some jobs, or you could keep being bound to them whims of The Supply Chain.

Naturally this is a difficult problem for a Republican-led Tennessee, who finds it impossible to pull themselves up by their bootstraps. Maybe we need to give Democrats a chance to fix it there.

Polk County Tennessee is one of the most impoverished counties in the Southern Appalachians.

If their schools can't afford forks, it's not because of Joe Biden. It's because Republican asshats like Marsha Blackburn think it's far more important to undermine the Democrats than to help their own people.

"If you were to provide a bailout to the auto industry, that would be a way to almost ensure that they do not become competitive," Rep. Marsha Blackburn said.

With auto demand falling 4.5 percent last month, many believe bankruptcy may be the only way to reform the financially strained US auto industry.

"That is an area where they could go in and reorganize and re-negotiate and reposition these contracts and become healthy and become competitive," Blackburn said.

She said as there was ZERO debtor-in-possession financing available because all the world banks were collapsing. It would have gone straight to liquidation and millions of jobs would have been lost overnight... not just auto workers, but every other job associated with (parts suppliers, etc) and the local communities that relied on the income from those workers...

We would have lost an entire industry and all the workers associated with it... all because of this lady:

She can just f*ck right off as can everyone who voted for her for House and Senate.

How come they're saying that Biden runs a plastic fork factory? That's what they're implying here.

farking morons.

2022-08-11 1:21:43 PM
Maybe Biden should whine about how the last guy used up all the plastic forks and now the cupboards are bare. They seem to like that kind of behavior in a president.

In Monroe County, I met w/ @lowellrussell21,@NCFAgProf  & residents concerned about the increasing federal deficit & higher taxes. Government needs to spend within its means - we cannot keep spending money we do not have. Our kids & grandkids will be forced to deal w/ this mess.

Indeed. So why did you vote against the recent Inflation Reduction Act, which is projected to reduce federal deficit spending by hundreds of billions of dollars over the coming years? Are you trying to create a larger mess for our kids and grandkids?

2022-08-11 1:25:25 PM
school budgets are a local matter. if you bought metal forks and washed them you wouldnt have this trouble.

now go find your bootstraps

2022-08-11 1:26:03 PM
13 years of public education in a dying former steel town, and I never once used plastic silverware. Is that a thing? Or just in red states because fark the environment?

2022-08-11 1:26:53 PM
Biden should just announce that plastic forks are gay, so they're not allowed.

That should keep the idiots busy while they hard reboot.

2022-08-11 1:27:03 PM
Surprised they aren't going for "hurr durr environmentalists took R forks away" instead of supply chain issues.

Photographic proof of Biden stealing the plastic forks:

Just in case you're not aware, Polk County is one of the most...if not THE most...backwards counties in the entire State (and that's saying a lot).

2022-08-11 1:27:30 PM
They should just go buy more money.

2022-08-11 1:27:33 PM
Fork you, you stupid backwater bint.

2022-08-11 1:28:54 PM
Do parents not own any forks at home? I brought utensils to school all the time in my lunchbox, and brought them back home for mom to wash. Never had to rely on no free fork handouts from no commie school boards, no sir. But then again, I never had to walk through any metal detectors when I was a kid either.

2022-08-11 1:29:09 PM
Or... OR... (Here me out!) They could buy metal forks. Which are (whaddayacallit?) reusable!

2022-08-11 1:29:17 PM
I got nothing, they blame bad weather on Biden.

2022-08-11 1:29:25 PM

koder: I mean you could invest in a dishwasher, some silverware, and create some jobs, or you could keep being bound to them whims of The Supply Chain.

No kidding. When I was a kid in rural middle of nowhere, we used metal forks that got washed. It's ridiculously pointless and wasteful to have hundreds of kids use plastic utensils every day.

2022-08-11 1:29:25 PM
They have fingers don't they!  The little ones are good for sewing too if they want to knock out that budget deficit.

Or I guess the State could adequately fund the school systems, but then how are they going to learn about boot-straps?

2022-08-11 1:30:20 PM
Maybe try budgeting for the school's logistical needs instead of throwing down millions of dollars on an astroturf practice field for the football team.

You haven't won district since Wham was still together. There's no NFL scouts to impress.

$1,700?

If your school district is struggling because of an extra $1,700 in expenses, your problems run way, WAY deeper than a small fuel surcharge.

2022-08-11 1:31:39 PM
There's no such thing as a republican who gets to complain about public schools not having enough money.

I grew up in Meigs County, another contender for most backwards county in the state and with a reputation for being full of bad-ass hillbillies, and we were afraid to go to certain parts of Polk County.

Pretty sure this applies to every state.

Can confirm Polk County, OR is trash.

Came here to say this, but you already said it better. Why the fark would you constantly pay for terrible plastic utensils while destroying the environment to keep shipping it?

2022-08-11 1:32:52 PM
You're in luck, lady. My disposal forks are made from the solidified tears of environmentalists. They're $10 each but the stiggin' it is SOO worth it.

They should just vote even more republican next time that will show them, maybe cut the school budget for good measure and complain loudly when their kids can't read or do basic math. Seems to work for the place in Ohio a lot of my cousins live in .

Well the problem is that the only feller what can do that thar number cipherin' is the 'rithmetic teacher, and even he can only count to 20 (21 with his pants down). So I reckon they cain't never order 'nuff forks 'n' sech

Or, they could raise taxes on their residents and quit relying on blue states/cities/counties to keep giving them welfare.

Run to CostCo and get them 5,000 plastic forks for less than $150. It's @&#%ing pocket change for a congressman. Hell, it's pocket change for me and I'm a schmoe.

That or biatch of Twitter for likes & gotchas.

Your call, Marsha.

If a school district can't afford cheap metal utensils for every student to use, appliances to clean them, and food service employees to handle them after use, their budget is beyond bare bones. You don't get to nickel and diming the cafeteria budget without first shaving tons of money elsewhere.

Yeah, you might want to up their dry goods order and maybe their maintenance budget.

All part of Joe Biden's Marxist plan to force all Americans to use a spork. Buy eliminating separate spoons and forks, the Dims think they can save 33% of carbon emissions in every school lunch, picnic, and camping trip. Those 870,000 new IRS agents are there to audit everyone's meals. Study it out.
