Next Monday, the Breaking Bad storyline is officially done. Seems like it's been a long road of virtuoso storytelling and filmmaking, but if Vince Gilligan has more stories to tell, I'm on farking board.

So, an X-Files prequel? I'm game! As long as 60 year old David Duchovny has a cameo at least.

The last new-new show he had was on CBS, and while it wasn't bad, it wasn't all that good, and CBS killed it pretty quickly. Short odds would be Apple or Amazon, maybe Netflix. Lord knows the broadcast networks aren't gonna bother.

Just make more X-Files.

If the two eps which preceded this week's ep are any indication, perhaps it's time to stop farking that dead horse, Vince.

(That's the correct idiom, right??  Whatever; it'll do.)

Battle Creek. It had potential, but it definitely wasn't geared toward the 60 Minutes crowd.

It's a saucy office comedy bordering on soft-core porn entitled Palm Coast Sprinklers

I think it will be a Breaking Bad/Madmen combination about Perdue Pharmaceuticals and the Sackler family.

I think Lyle deserves the next series. His performance as temporary manager was....acceptable.

I want an anthology series in the BB/BCS universe. Side stories involving minor characters. Lyle taking over Los Pollos and making it respectable again, the guy with the yellow hummer, Cliff Main, Shwiker, The Kettlemans, the vet, Huell, Hank and Gomez, etc. Just 1-2 episodes each. One season of fun.

Until he finds a way to link Walter White to Bryan Cranston's character on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Vince Gilligan better not be done telling stories in this universe.

Eh, I don't care, I just saw Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson perform at the South Park 25th anniversary concert, and that's enough entertainment for me.

I agree.  I watch up til the female genie episode (the last one before Mulder goes back to Oregon) and nothing further.

CSB: Lyle is Dave "Doug McKenzie" Thomas' son IRL. Now you can't unsee it.

The description in TFA kinda sorta sounds like a less techy Black Mirror...

Given the last season (if you can call 3 episodes a season) of BM was terrible, a new show in the same vein would be appreciated.

The only story left to tell us the origin of Gus Fring. And I have a feeling he's going to remain forever a mystery.

We know the broad strokes and big moments. I think that's enough.

As much as I enjoy these characters it's time to put them away and move on.

Baking competition. It will be about baking competitions.

Sigh

I am Tom Joad's Complete Lack of Surprise: Baking competition. It will be about baking competitions.

If he wanted to do a comedy about crooked baking competitions, I'd watch that.

whatshisname: ABQ?

I'm guessing that's short for Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Exactly. The only pieces of any significance are after his partner was killed / his rise in new mexico. That could be interesting, but it retreads much of the same ground.  I guess you could do a story about everything up to the events at the pool, but that would have to be completely in Spanish to do it justice and Giancarlo Esposito is too old and not a great Spanish speaker.

Has he ever confirmed that Walter White did actually die?

Just make sure Rhea Seehorn is in it...
