It's a clever billboard.  I doubt that there are enough people injured while searching for bodies in Lake Mead to make that a lucrative market, but it's absurd and funny enough to get him the attention he wants.

Hell, he probably sent these images out to all the news stations hoping for a story like this.  This article is worth a lot more in advertisement then the cost of the billboard.

He will have to think of a even more extreme joke to get it on the news next time.

Ambulance-chasing lawyer ads are annoying, but they're still better than political ads.

It reminds me of a joke:

Q: What do you call 100 lawyers chained together at the bottom of the ocean?

A: A good start

Come on, be classy, quote Shakespeare: "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers"

I blame Joan Osbourne.  She could have cemented the proper grammar for generations, but nope.

Well, the guy painting the billboard could just slip off, and this dashing young attorney could leap into action and save him while the cameras roll.

In a town with 100+ personal injury law firms all with their own billboards I don't blame the guy for trying to stand out.

Call it the Little Darlings strip club style of advertising.

Parke, who has been a practicing attorney for about 12 years, admitted that not all feedback has been positive. But he claims the billboard "is dripping with irony," and attempts to play on "the idea of the greedy attorney mixed with the person who doesn't want to accept any responsibility for anything they've done ... which is very timely today."

Parke also said he's been compared to the character of Saul Goodman from AMC's "Better Call Saul" - who is shown to do just about anything to get clients and win cases - because of his new billboards. But Parke feels those critics are missing the point.

"Some people did see it and [it] confirms every suspicion they have about attorneys, which is, 'Look at this guy, he's going after the last shred of dignity here, he's chasing every buck he can, he's the Saul Goodman of Las Vegas,'" Parke said. "And the joke is kind of on them because that was kind of the point."

Uh...ok.

What is the point, exactly?

This is a clever ad, but I find even the stupid lawyer billboards amusing. There is this guy with the last name Bell here in New Mexico. His clever tag line "Injured, ring the BELL" its so stupid its hilarious.

Phoenix has it's share of lawyers but the new guy on the block is Sweet James. The radio commercials are completely annoying.

Living in Vegas was really something else. It's mundane in so many ways, like any other city, but then the weirdness likes to poke its head out and remind you where you are. Like a dry Florida.

My favorite Little Darlings billboard: Your neighbor's daughter works here.

I've been there, but missed out on Larry's Villa.

The billboard is an advertisement for Parke Injury Law Firm. Steven Parke, who established the firm, said the billboard is meant to be a joke

"Meant to be" and "is" are sometimes two very different things.

FWIW, it is common knowledge, and apparently posted, that people are not to be going out into the dry lake to treasure hunt and other such activities.

Just saying. Don't be suing people if you were warned not to be an idiot.
