I can't decide if this means Captain Kirk will end up reading the constitution to the Yang Gang or not.

If it makes your rage feel better

Griffin's copy of the Constitution is currently on view at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas, in a show about democracy.

I could be wrong but isn't that currently housed in a Tax Shelter scam by the Walton family where they stick art and shiat in the middle of farking nowhere that only rich farks would ever be able to visit with their private planes.

I had one down the street from me where some dickface had the "Museum of American Illustration, or some sh*t, in some walled off part of his mansion on Bellevue. Just so he could write the whole place off, or most of it, through tax breaks.

Just sick of all that bullsh*t.

I'm very curious what "Constitution DAO" was going to do had they won the bid. Did they think owning the copy gave them the rights to amend the Constitution or something?

The seller paid $165,000 for it in 1987.  That's an annualized return of 17.23%.

That's why I'm invested in copies of this.

Kinda right, kinda wrong. The museum is a tax dodge for a Walmart heiress and a bit of a boondoggle for ad valorem tax breaks. However, Bentonville is readily accessible via highway, the frankly very nice regional airport. The metro is in a lovely part of the country and University of Arkansas is 30 min away by car.

aren't Hedge Funds the same ones buying up homes across this nation at well above market value so average americans can't afford them and they can then lease them out to renters who will probably never own a home??

those hedge funds with gobs of money from wealthy investors looking for another revenue stream??

no

but blockchain/crypto has a way of decentralizing power/wealth over time.  which explains why banksters and others hate it.

If only there was some way that you could simply type in the name of it, and you'd be able to get directions to there, know what the hours were, and see that admission is free.
