That's all we need, more wild animals as pets, bringing yet another round of SARS-like viruses.

Thanks, assholes.

This clip is rather popular and old and may have been extracted from Facebook or Instagram of an Australian bat rescue group.

This looks like a different clip of the same bat with a friend who has a daisy pacifier.

Washing a baby bat
551 views Aug 8, 2018 Baby bats need baths too, who knows how much dirt they have on their wings- you can't even see it. Hopefully we can get some real shower footage of this little guy

The woman doesn't seem to be speaking  English so maybe this comes from Malaysia or Indonesia.

Most of these videos come from rehab centres.  Dunno about this one.  But that bat sure is adorable.

If the site of adorable animals is going to upset you, the D'aaaw page probably isn't for you.

She's speaking baby talk to the baby bat

The video is from the bat rescue group Wings, Paws, N Claws in Toowoomba, Queensland which mostly exists on Facebook and Instagram.

They have very many videos there which you can access without logging in.

They do have 3 videos on YouTube including this one (I don't know why it didn't turn up in searches)

Baby bat enjoying his daily bath
10,510 views Aug 26, 2018 Capella enjoying his daily bath. Can you count all five fingers? When flying foxes are young, their mums clean them constantly throughout the day by licking them. We mimic this by 'bathing' them once a day. We only do it once as we can strip them of their natural oils and over do it, harming the babies. After their bath and some tummy tickles, we then let them enjoy half an hour of pure sunlight to air out completely and practice their wing flapping. This prevents them getting bacterial skin infections, the main one being 'slimy wing'. As carers, we need to be extremely vigilant with their wing health. As you can see, the babies love bath time! *bats are not pets* - I am a licenced and vaccinated wildlife rescuer and rehabilitator

May 21, 2018 Did you know that flying foxes have over 20 different calls for communication? After Bette and Cap spit their dummies in the video, you'll hear their little chirps Fark user image If you're wondering why they have dummies, it's because we try to mimic their mothers in the wild. Flying foxes can't fly for the first twelve weeks of age, so they cling to their mums bodies for dear life. Under their mums armpit is a nipple that they latch onto and drink from throughout the day. Our dummies and the teats on their bottles are specially designed to mimic a flying fox nipple. These give the babies a sense of security and comfort Fark user image
