Good to see tender boys acknowledging each others' tenderness.

Southwest Region. Uh oh, is this in Arizona? The batter could get suspended for 'overt wokeness.'

What a terrific kid!

Proof that there are still some parents out there who know what they're doing.

Good Lord, you would NOT see something like that in the 1970's. I remember my t-ball coach spanking us while we were running bases if he didn't think we were moving fast enough.

LL World Series is probably the only baseball I watch each year.  It moves fast enough and has enough action that I don't get bored.  And by the time they reach the WS, they're good enough that they aren't spoiled whiny brats.  It's still pretty 'slick' and produced, but hey, you can't have everything

Yeah, tonite when I'm trying to get to sleep, I'll remember that this kid and the people who raised him are in the world.

when i was in little league there was a coach who would constantly swear at the kids, throw mitts/gloves, yell at parents, the other team, etc.  had assistant coaches that were nearly as bad. none of them ever got thrown out of game. i don't even remember the umps telling them to knock it off.
