the Singapore-based company announced that it's freezing withdrawals, token swaps, and deposits due to an uncertain economy that some say triggered a "crypto winter."

That's too bad.  Those crooked banksters let me access my accounts in this uncertain economy.  And the last one.  And the one before that.

If everyone would keep their coins safe in offline wallets none of this fraud could happen

Cold wallets didn't save anyone holding TerraLuna.

I assume some people are greedy, and wanted their crypto to work for them by letting banks invest them, with an interest rate.

People do that with real money as well, in countries where they'll lose everything when it goes tits up. Like Libanon (I just watched a documentary about it yesterday), where banks have frozen everyones savings because the country was farked, even before their port blew up.

This is why I keep my crypto exchanges in a cold wallet buried in the back yard. Only amateurs and losers use a cold wallet without an exchange.

Your Lebanese videos are way less fappable than mine.

its just harder to offer double-digit interest rates with real money

With no regulation, and "banks" competing for customers, that's what yoy got with crypto.

Great for those for invested, re-invested, 3 years ago, and doubled their money.

Then again, so did AMD stock. :)

I was looking for one of them, it was either Arte, or Deutche Welle, that featured a smoking hot Lebanese yoga instructor, talking about the explosion.

She was in the documentary for one reason. And it wasn't because she also talked about sectarian tensions from the perspective of a Christian.

Ah found it. Was an ABC documentary, 3:40 in.

I set up my trading algorithm to send out certified letters to validation addresses whenever I buy crypto. The typewriter and Forever stamps have yet to be hacked remotely. 100% security AND tampering with the US mail is a felony. I'm winning the tech race.
