In a face-to-face meeting this past weekend, K.D. reportedly told Joe Tsai he doesn't have faith in the Nets' direction

You mean the direction that he chose?

Or what? He retires? Becomes an expensive paperweight at the end of the bench?

sorry, KD.   Nobody wants you.

Except for the Nets, and most of the other 29 teams of course.

What has Golden State done without KD?

KD is almost as good of a GM as LeBron is.

This KD fellow seems like a bit of a prima donna

2022-08-08 9:58:30 PM
This stuff is why I can't be bothered to watch the NBA. Prima Donna basketball league

In what other sport would this fly? I hate the NBA anymore.

Joe_diGriz: KD is almost as good of a GM as LeBron is.

KD had four more playoff games this year than LeBron did.
/unfortunately, there are 58 other coaches and GMs, but only one KD
//that said, he's still an ass

Messi and Ronaldo have more coaching scalps than anyone but LeBron.

And Durant selflessly joined a struggling Golden State team to help them win back to back championships when they could barely win 73 games in an entire regular season. The guy is the definition of a warrior.

Until he's hurt. He's never won a championship without 4 future hall of famers around him for "support". Plus he's balding. Haven't watched the clown in so long I didn't notice. Good.

And yet..

Steve Nash never won anything. And he wasn't surrounded by slouches.

I was going to say. Trade him. Anybody else who says this at a regular job would be canned on the spot.

Yeah, see, I'm not sure if you remember the NBA having a referee gambling issue in Nash's back to back MVP years. You might have heard about it. Not saying they would've won but it certainly didn't help when the ref has skin in the game he's in charge of.

They've been shopping him around, he already asked to be trade but now that the market isn't really there for the Nets (they are asking for a lot) it seems like they might be forced to just run it back with him but now here he is asking for the coach and or GM to get fired. He ain't doing any favors for his legacy.

His legacy is bullshiat anyhow. Dude ran to the team he couldn't beat. That's like Bron running to Boston after he left Cleveland the first time.

It's almost like being one of the top 10 people on the planet at your job affords you more stature.

I mean, geez, LeBron set the footprint for chasing championships. He just had his agent negotiate with other guys.

Kobe and Shaq getting a bunch of aged vets was more organic than any title MeBron won.

Also, Durant is an asshat, but he's #2 or #3 in this generation whether or not one wants to include Curry.

Also tbf they lost that year and I laughed. and laughed.

And Sheed got his ring. The one Portland would have won if the NBA weren't crooked.

Also btw make no mistake historically Nash is nowhere NEAR as overrated as Kobe.

But both were overrated.

And Kobe was better

2022-08-09 2:21:52 AM
But still insanely overrated

The best way to get a GM to trade for you is to insist that your current GM be fired if you stay.

Let me get this straight, Kobe was overrated? So was Steve Nash? Got it. I understand now. You've never watched a basketball game. It's okay. I've never watched the WNBA but then again nobody has.

Remember when people bet real money the Nets would win the Champioship?
<haha_ohwow.jpg>

The only positive I can take from the Durant fiasco is it's making Lebron and the Lakers look good by comparison.

overheard in mayfair: The best way to get a GM to trade for you is to insist that your current GM be fired if you stay.

And if I was a team owner and my GM passed up a legitimate chance to get KD, he's now my ex-GM.

WE MISSED THE FARKING PLAYOFFS! We're more likely to get Kyrie Irving than we are of getting rid of Westbrook.

Lol. Only Lebron haters would call winning a championship with a team that was historically bad a failed scenario. He's accomplished what he went there to do. For a third team. Casual.

That's fine and I'm glad for Lebron and that Championship team.
Which makes last season look all the worse. And we're talking historical failure.
Fun fact: The Lakers had good odds to win the Championship which means numerous people bet real money on the Lakers. 😂

Betting is stupid. Still doesn't make Lebron's tenure in LA a fiasco. It isn't over yet either. People like you were saying the same crap after his first season there. Then just as quick to dismiss his championship because bubble, Anthony Davis. The guy lives in the finals.
