Slightly different angle with some backstory:  Jul 6, 2022 While working in Glacier National Park over the summer at the Many Glacier Hotel, I witnessed this crazy occurrence. The Mama Moose had twins, and after several days of stalking them, the bear got the first baby. However, when he went for the second baby, this is what happened.

Moose-sized is gigantic for those of us who don't live in places with moose-sized animals.

Many people don't understand "moose sized". I will admit that I didn't until I saw one IRL at about 20 yards.

the prequel
https://cdapress.com/news/2022/jun/09/griz-grabs-moose-front-many-glacier-hotel/
According to a video posted on social media by Josh Camareno on May 28, the grizzly stalks the moose and her two calves which were bedded down along Swiftcurrent Lake on the edge of the road in front of the hotel.
The grizzly pounced on one calf and killed it and dragged it off.

Josh Camareno  has 7 videos of the stalking and killing on his TikTok account
https://www.tiktok.com/@jcam21

culminating in killing and dragging off of the first calf.

The moose had every intention of obtaining that bear's arms. And his ass.

Canadians have always had a top notch military. They not only held their own against the US' war of aggression in 1812, but took some US Territory as comeuppance. ever since WWII, however they have constantly been a stalwart ally, even though every time they help the US, the US troops kill more Canadians than the actual enemies do, because US troops are farking trigger happy morons and cowards

we had all kinds of critters on our runway at Loring AFB, in northern Maine.   Most would get chased away by a crew in a truck.   Only a moose would halt all air traffic.   Even B-52s and KC-135s won't mess with a moose.

You don't have to convince me.  I live in Albany, NY.  I've seen Canada's pre-WWII plans to invade us and bring us universal healthcare.  All I have to say is you bastards are sure taking your sweet time about it.  We'll turn the searchlights skyward.  Don't shoot.

/One of my favorite movies of all time is Canadian Bacon.  "There it is men, Toronto."

"It's beautiful, it's like no other city I've ever seen.  It's like Albany... only cleaner."  (I actually had that as my Windows startup sound on one of my computers.)

I don't remember that, but the first time I went dogsledding in the Boundary Waters they told us to stay close together in the woods and brushy areas because moose will attack one string of dogs but is more likely to leave several strings alone. The dogs look too much like wolves to the moose.

If chased by a mama moose, the only thing that will save your ass is getting far enough away from her calf that she's uncomfortable following.

I'm hanging out in the water like a moose does.
You're between me and the shore. I am not a happy moose.
You are still to close. I am unhappy and am about to share it with you.
The FA has ended. The FO will now commence!
