Two points:

1) Fetterman based his campaign on something impossible for Oz to change or refute (that he's from NJ)
2) Oz basing his current strategy (Fetterman not touring) which is something very f$cking easy to refute and/or change.

Oz is getting some very bad advice.  He's headed to a historic defeat.

"Hey, look everyone, I'm hiding" something along those line at every future Fetterman rally.  It writes its f$cking self.

Holy crap. Even half deep in a fifth of cheap whiskey during a presidential primary debate I would be more coherent that that batshiat insane babbling. She's an employed campaign communications officer? Yikes. What are they putting in the water in New Jersey these days, lead?

Even if Fetterman was actually a decaying rat carcass, he'd be a better Senator than Oz, or literally any Republican.

It's a weird strategy. I have no idea if Fetterman was supported by his family or not. I dont care. But:

1. Dr. Oz is the rich, effete, media-glossy celebrity.

2. Fetterman is a hulking dude who looks working class.

I guess Oz is trying to attack Fetterman's strengths and bolster his own issues, but this seems to reaffirm both.

Hiding in his basement, huh? At least his basement is in Pennsylvania.

And, he's certainly found time to own you, Oz.

Ima start putting a disclaimer in my Boobies each day, that says what I told everyone over two years ago. Like a broken record.

The GOP can clean up in the 2022 midterms. It will be a breeze. It's become common place. It's expected.

UNLESS. Unless Trump sticks his nose in the middle of races. Then Dems have a more than fighting chance hold 1 chamber at least.

Trump, so far, has given the GOP Herschel, Oz, Blake Masters among others. The GOP needs to flip 2 of those seats to take the majority. I don't see it happening.

Thanks Donald.

I'd like to think that as a relatively well-regarded doctor he wouldn't. But then I remember he's already trashed his reputation as a relatively well-regarded doctor by selling quackery to millions of idiots and conclude you're definitely correct.

The thing I love about Fetterman's campaign is it's essentially birtherism, but in a socially decent way. If Trump's beef with Obama had been about "where is he from - Hawaii or Illinois?" it would obviously have been less effective, but it also would have been much less loathable. If Oz was a Dem the R's would be talking about Turkey every day, instead Fetterman's left that completely alone and is making it all about New Jersey.

You just know McConnell and big donors are pissed as all get out right now. At Trump. At these idiots. At the whole MAGA shiatshow.

And I expect donations to start drying up soon. They're already way behind Dems. Maybe they'll start spending more money on House races, who knows. But they aren't going to finance Oz and Walker, not only getting beat like drums, but looking like total farking morans in the process.

Even Fox recognizes that is happening.

The Senate Majority PAC reported on Monday that brought in $48.8 million in the April-June second quarter of 2022 fundraising, which it says is its largest monthly haul so far this cycle. The group, which shared its fundraising figures first with Fox News, topped the pro-Republican Senate Leadership Fund by over $11 million.

Thanks Donald. You're the gift that keeps giving. Giving Dems the Senate, that is.

Fetterman is working class.

I will grant you that he was born to an upper-middle class family, and even by his own admission he "sleep walked" through his early life. But then he went and taught people in Philly and Braddock how to get their GEDs, then he went and started buying property to turn into community centers, getting arrested protesting the closure of the local hospital; all while earning only $150 a month as Mayor.

He might not have been born a shiat kicker, but hes gonna be remember as one because hes one of the only folks who's bothered to fight for em.

You've taken the bait.  Fetterman's campaign is based on being the Pennsylvania every man.  The NJ stuff is just some throwaway memes (also repping the PA every man shiatting on anyone not from PA).

Don't let Republicans define your candidates for you.

Fetterman is leading by double digits without touring.  The last thing Oz should want is Philly incarnate rubbing elbows with rural blue collars and rednecks.

This meme sums it up pretty well. Team Oz is trying to employ Fetterman's communications strategy, but doing it incredibly poorly. Instead of coming up with something both funny and pithy, they copy/pasted from some right wing bulletin board post. I can't wait for the Kelsey Grammer endorsement where they discuss what it's like to grow up near Pennsylvania.

Around here we frequently have candidates run for office who share names with famous people.  There have been a Bill Gates, a Jerry Lewis, and at least one other whose name I can't recall who've sought or been elected to office while sharing the name with a celebrity.  To my knowledge all have been Republicans.

Oz is one of the worst candidates in a long list of terrible gop candidates.  He's right up there with Josh Mandel except Oz doesn't connect at all with trump voters.  Mandel was a moron but he at least knew how to talk to trumpers.

Lived in Philly for a good bit, worked at McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, and I gotta tell you, NJ up to about Newark is pretty freaking nice.

Still wish I lived in Philly, so I could vote for Fetterman, but here we are.
