According to the BBC, the cheetahs will travel by cargo plane...

What a cheetah plane might look like...

Not a "speedy recovery"?  Or at worst a "rapid comeback"?

Lost opportunity, feels like.

Once a cheetah, always a cheetah.

From what I've gathered over the years, when it comes to the "big cats," the cheetah seems to be more... docile? calm? not as high-strung? as the others.

Zoo handlers, wild animal vets, please correct me if I'm wrong.

"According to Jhala, it's no mystery why the cheetah vanished from India's grasslands. During British rule, people were offered bounties to kill the creatures, in an effort to make the country safe from deadly predators."

Meanwhile, the tiger, which actually eats people, proliferated in the lack of competition.  Smooth move, slick.
