There was a famous incident where the constables were reading the riot act when one of the crowd took the paper out of the constable's hands, so he couldn't finish.

Funnily enough, I watched that episode the other night. That one's mentioned in TFA.

In that episode, I found the story of the Toronto Clown Riot far more interesting.
