Your hero directed a conspiracy to violate several federal laws and organize a violent assault on Congress with the intent of seizing the office of POTUS illegally.

Yeah, that is a little different from what happened in 1800.

Mark Levin is a goddamn idiot and no one should take legal information from him, ever.

This is a tactic these people use to hook the listener and convince them that he's giving them secret information, like it's the decoder ring or something. It makes them feel special, "l know something you don't know" kind of thing. They get their fix.

Levin's incoherent ramblings soon to be filtered from Levin to your uncle and regurgitated back to you in a drunken, condescending tone at Thanksgiving.  I can't wait!

From the article:

"John Adams was running as a Federalist, of course, seeking reelection, and his main opponent was Thomas Jefferson, running as a Republican."

How did he manage to run as a Republican in 1800, when the party was founded in 1854?

Sorry trumpers, but everyone knows Donald is guilty. We don't lack for evidence of criminal actions. We know he's broken multiple laws and Trump should die in a jail cell.
But Republicans can't admit they backed the wrong guy, and they're going to keep protecting Trump because they cannot ever be wrong about anything.

It would probably not be a crime if they actually anticipated using the false electors as contingent electors. However...they referred to the false electors as false electors from the very beginning.

There was even a conspiracy to supplant the legitimate electors with the false electors that was being led by Sen Grassley, being aided and abetted by the Secret Service.

/ Lordy...were there crimes

Easy way to fix that part. Just get rid of the EC and elect who the people give the most votes.

That's why I said that it probably wouldn't be a crime. "Contingent  electors", as you correctly pointed out, do not appear in the constitution and are not actually a thing. It really comes down to intent behind the action in criminal cases.

/ or if you can pay enough lawyers to make enough of a roadblock that it becomes extremely difficult to prosecute you. Either way.

That's not how that works.

It's 95 percent of precincts reporting, not 95 percent of the votes counted.  Simple arithmetic shows that is not the case.  Also reading the text on the infographics also shows that is the case.

Also how would they know how many ballots were cast before all of the precincts report? Are you really that dumb?

Like most things, the answer to the question is right in front of your face.  If only you had the ability to read.

You do (or apparently don't) realize that Wisconsin doesn't use an electoral representative system. It doesn't matter if Trump wins 99 counties to Biden's one. While Trump claimed the undecided counties between that first and second snapshot, the total vote count in the blue counties and cities continued to accrue, dramatically surpassing the total red count. Within individual states, it's total votes, not counties that matter.

It's not rocket-surgery, dude. It's simple math.

Levin knows Jefferson wasn't a Republican, but he also knows his listeners are stupid enough to buy a lie like that uncritically and adopt it as fact.

Guys like Levin and the rest know their audience better than they know themselves. That's why their bullshiat works on them. Saying things morons will believe has paid off well for the right but it's really bad for the country.

Because there were more uncounted votes for Biden in the high population counties already called for Biden  than there were votes for Trump in the counties not yet called in the first picture, and when those votes were counted they unsurprisingly went mostly to Biden. This is a natural and inevitable result of the way votes are counted. Places with lots of votes take longer to count. This is not confusing. This is not complicated.

And yes you can call a county before all the votes are in; if the votes already counted have enough for Biden that it's more than half of all votes cast, you call the county for Biden and keep counting.

This is true even when there aren't deliberate attempts to sow uncertainty in the election.

Stage 4 is about when they become aware of the gigantic scandal the rest of the country has known about for years.  Imagine the first time.you even hear about the fake elector scandal is "You might think it's weird, you might think it's unethical, but it's not a crime".

I mean not to say there will be one iota of doubt in their minds in Mark Levin.  Nor that when their kid then runs in the door and says "NO MATTER WHAT SISSY SAYS I DID NOT THROW A FROG AT HER!" they wouldn't handle that situation with the skepticism it deserves.

Here's a secret that the conservative media doesn't want you to know. It is technically not illegal to round up Trumpers by the hundreds of thousands and throw them into wood chippers. It may be messy, somewhat mass murdery and some may even question if it is ethical. But what the pundits and analysts at Fox and OAN won't tell you is that wood chippers are not even mentioned in the constitution. So it is kinda of a grey area.

We are dealing with this same cognitive failure in Michigan which is why the simpletons here believe it was "stolen"...

After polls closed and votes were being counted, Trump jumped out to an early lead. Michigan, however, allows no-excuse absentee balloting and state law mandates those ballots cannot be canvassed until election day. (A policy passed by Republicans, BTW).

Somewhere around 2:30am, counting of a large number of those ballots finished up and they were uploaded to the statewide tally and Trump's lead evaporated.

It was all done by the book with paper trails and accountability. But since Trump supporters are predominantly idiots, they can't put this together and believe it as the factual account it is. They have to cling to lies and conspiracies in order to cope with disappointment after being overconfident.

Trump certainly did manage to capture the hearts and minds of Moron America.
