Harry Wagstaff: if I'm staying at a hotel it's only for a few days and I don't see the need for it to be cleaned daily since i only use it to sleep and shower.


Having done the hotel at the big con thing a couple times, I will say that the nerds absolutely, for-real go to those things in a lot of cases to hook up. It's better now than it was, and there's more of an open, family vibe now, but I absolutely know that the sci-fi / comic book / Rocky Horror / anime people to some extent use the time that the show floor isn't open to get their fark on. I don't think that's a bad thing but I do think there might be a need to do more cleaning rather than less.

Most rooms I have stayed in had two beds. I figured one was for farking and the other for sleeping,

sleze: Having stayed at several hotels recently for work, I can tell you that unclean rooms is the norm right now.  Travel sucks.


This is a big reason I love getting an Airbnb instead.
