I don't know about most people, but if I'm staying at a hotel it's only for a few days and I don't see the need for it to be cleaned daily since i only use it to sleep and shower.

Having done the hotel at the big con thing a couple times, I will say that the nerds absolutely, for-real go to those things in a lot of cases to hook up. It's better now than it was, and there's more of an open, family vibe now, but I absolutely know that the sci-fi / comic book / Rocky Horror / anime people to some extent use the time that the show floor isn't open to get their fark on. I don't think that's a bad thing but I do think there might be a need to do more cleaning rather than less.

Perfect time to be on strike. I've seen what con-goers do to hotel rooms (and hotel elevators for that matter), the strikers should increase their demands. Or the hotel owners should consider just burning the building down after the con. There will be vomit in the light fixtures and it will be hair-sprayed over.

They will have to hire a crime scene cleanup company to clean the hotels after the con.

Get a load of mr money bags over here, gets himself a separate room just for wanking.

I do my wanking on the bus or subway, like a normal person.

Good. Some hotels pay staff almost as badly as restaurant waitstaff are usually paid and hotel staff do not get tips - at least not on a regular basis.

Having stayed at several hotels recently for work, I can tell you that unclean rooms is the norm right now.  Travel sucks.

Most rooms I have stayed in had two beds. I figured one was for farking and the other for sleeping,

Nah, you just wank in the shower. Clean AND economical.

Ditto.  We've stayed in a few places where they gave us the option to not have the rooms cleaned and got a small discount.  The only problem is my wife's hair is long enough that it takes two of those tiny shampoo bottles to wash it.  But hotels are migrating to dispensers in the shower, which is nice.
