List fails without Wil Wheaton in Toy Soldiers. Thanks to the ton of Wesley hatred at the time, the used VHS we bought from Blockbuster at the time had that bit badly stretched out due to someone (possibly everyone in Ealing...) watching it repeatedly.

There's some misses there, but overall that is a pretty damn good list.

/ Pac Man!  Noooooo!!!!

3 others they missed:
DiCaprio in Blood Diamond. Holding off the mercs while the hero escapes with the giant diamond, and he makes a phone call to his love.
Donnie Darko laughing in bed waiting for the airplane engine to slam through his roof and kill him.
Choice Owen on Children of Men, rowing the baby and her mother to a brighter future, and slowly dying white hearing -for the first time - the laughter of happy children.

I feel like I could make a list of 30 just from Paul Verhoven movies- toxic waste guy, ED209 victim, asphyxiation on Mars, "see you at the party", brain-bug head drain...the man knows how to shoot a shocking and dramatic death.

I was torn between the three.

I landed on Gus due to how he casually walks out of the room, giving the viewer the idea that somehow he inexplicably avoided death, only for the camera to dolly** in front of him to reveal a good chunk of his head missing. Him straightening his tie just before he drops was the cherry on top.

Yeah, that scene is totally epic. Really drives home just how deadly Gus was.

It's a good for list for the most part, but it was an amazing oversight not to include any from Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones.

But, of course, they did not fail to have the death of Tony Sopra

AMC showed that clip over and over in previews. That's what finally hooked us into watching the series.
