How representative of the franchises is this owners group really? I smell a 1 million moms situation.

Kinda surprised McDonalds was ever in favor of nepotism. They are big enough to do what is right for the business and not have to placate the F-U, GOT MINE contingent.

GrogSmash: My Second Fark Account: How representative of the franchises is this owners group really? I smell a 1 million moms situation.

It's in the article.

Better question.  How many of those who voted yes own multiple sites?

700 owners out of 2400 total, plus the "how many sites" question you raised. Yup.

A survey of of a group represening less than 42% of franchisees? That only 700 responded to...

I smell bullshiat numbers

And if a "vote of no confidence" was an actual thing that franchisees could do, I'm sure that would mean a lot. But since it's not, I imagine the McDonald's response would mostly be "lol, nope, go fark yourself."

And frankly, they should. They should bring down the farking hammer, because McDonald's franchisees are mostly absolute scum, while corporate actually treats their store employees fairly well. And this is just a bunch of asshole fark you got mine dick holes trying to protect their monopolies.
